The history.

BCA’s history stretches back to 1931, when the New Zealand Motor Omnibus Proprietors Association was formed to provide operators with a collective industry voice. The organisation evolved over the following decades, becoming the Bus and Coach Association (NZ) Inc. in 1972 and amalgamating with the New Zealand School Transport Contractors Association in 1989.

More than 90 years later, BCA continues to bring the industry together, advocate for its interests and support New Zealand’s bus and coach operators.
