Member Services
The Association offers the following services to its members:
- Free magazine
The Association's own monthly industry circular magazine wil keep you up to date with industry issues. The magazine includes the country's most comprehensive "buses for sale" listings.
- School Bus Signs
The Association supplies 'SCHOOL' transfers for just $32.00 each, standard magnetic 'SCHOOL' signs for only $68.00 each and premium transfers for $65.00 each (excl. GST).
- Sample Contracts
The Association has sample permanent and casual employment contracts, and contracts to provide school transport to direct-resourced schools. They can be altered to suit your situation, and are free to all members.
- Star Grading Programme
The Association administers the Star Grading programme for tour coaches and promotes the programme to domestic and international travel agents and wholesalers. Star Grading allows members to distinguish quality vehicles and obtain a price premium for them.
- Sector Seminars
School, tourism, urban and maintenance seminars are held on a regular basis. Along with the Annual Conference, they provide an opportunity for policy discussion, education and debate, and to network with other operators and suppliers.
- Educational Services
The Association is a member of Tranzqual ITO, which has developed unit standards for commercial road operators, and which will form part of the national qualifications framework.
- Legal Advice
The Association has access to many legal decisions relating to the industry, free to all members.
