The Association Today
Funded by subscriptions from voluntary members, the Bus and Coach Association represents all the major and most of the smaller bus companies in New Zealand. Consequently we speak for the industry and have credibility with Government and other organisations.

The Association's work includes representing the industry on school transport matters, urban issues, tourism, and limousine/small PSV's, which comprise the Association's four sector groups. The Association acts as the industry's voice to central and local government, related bodies and the media on relevant issues, writing submissions and publishing factsheets on relevant subjects.
There are standing committees dealing with technical issues, human resources, Star-Grading, and insurance. In addition, the Association's monthly Circular magazine provides up-to-date information on industry matters, and is available to members free of charge. We also host regular seminars for the sector groups, as well as a major Annual Conference and trade display.
