latest updates from Kaikoura. On 14 May, we will hit the 6-month mark and we've

Mar 2017 to $78m, decline of $42m (-35%)
- i-SITE visitor numbers down 56% (YE April 2017)
- CAM total guest nights down -80.5% in Nov,
-60.6% in Jan and -50.9% in Feb 2017
- Figures lower than expected due to displacement
effect of NZTA, road crews, planners etc. staying in commercial
accommodation
SH1 South to Christchurch remains closed at the moment. NCTIR/NZTA anticipates reopening on 25 May 2017.
