As
part of the Southern Corridor Improvement project, there will be a local road
closure at the Orams Road Bridge. The bridge will be closed to vehicle and
pedestrian traffic for a duration of 5 months.
Temporary traffic management will be in place starting 6am on Saturday 22 April 2017 and work will commence on Sunday 23 April through to October 2017. This work will establish a safe work zone and enable works to begin widening the SH1 southbound carriageway for an additional (4th) lane.
