Encouraging progress continues to be made with both Whale Watch and Dolphin/Albatross trips now back in action (working around the tides). Reports coming back indicate the town is feeling vibrant and there's been no issues with visitors driving on either SH1 between Christchurch and Kaikoura or Inland Route 70 via Hanmer Springs.
