
Traffic
bulletins will be issued regularly from now onward until project completion - late
2018. They provide a brief overview of likely traffic disruptions for the
following week. Full closures are also advertised in the Weekend
Herald. Traffic bulletins are complemented by monthly construction
updates and quarterly newsletters.
11 January UPDATE:
An unexpected late change has occurred from our Traffic Bulletin which was issued on Friday 8 January 2016. This change affects our night-time motorway closures for tonight and tomorrow night. The closures are now:

Traffic Next Week
Monday 11 January - amended as above.
Tuesday 12 January - amended as above.
Wednesday 13 January - Night closure of full northbound
motorway between Takanini northbound offramp (Great South Road) to Manukau
onramp (Redoubt Road). The detour will be via Great South Road to
Manukau Interchange onramp.
Night
closures are typically from 9pm at night to 5am in the morning. Detours
will be in place that will take motorists along local roads, leading back to
the next motorway interchange. All detours will be clearly
signposted. Please allow extra time for your journeys at night.
Work during these closures will include surveying, geotechnical investigations, bridge inspections and service locations. It is not expected to be noisy. Investigation work will also continue during the daytime, but will not affect traffic movements.
