Pavlovich Coachlines are hiring Bus Drivers to join the Urban team. Working on a variety of duties across central and west Auckland, you will enjoy:

Ideally you will have:

A current Class 2 licence or higher
A P endorsement or eligibility to get one- we can help with this!

We are an increasingly busy premium National Tour Coach Operator and are looking for some great drivers on either Full Time, Peak period term or casual contracts in Auckland. Our coaches are large and well respected as a premium brand. We have a growing client list as well as some new vehicles coming into our fleet. We have a mix of local and long distance work with both commentary and non-commentary work.

In this role you are the face of the Company and of New Zealand so flexibility, patience, excellent customer service and a willingness to learn are very important in this ever changing industry.

To be successful in this application:

You will have a track record of great service delivery and working in a team environment
You will also have an excellent driving history and be able to demonstrate such.
Ideally you will have a class 2 and P endorsement, and preferably a class 4 license.
If you don't hold these licenses but believe you have the 'right stuff' to become a top-class Tour Coach driver, get in contact - we may be able to help
A competitive hourly rate is offered, based on experience and relevant qualifications

We are looking for people who have the same passion for people, safety and service to join us in our new trainee programme.

What you need

We are looking for people who have committed to gaining a class 2 learner licence (minimum) and are wanting to pursue a career as a Bus Driver. You would have already identified yourself as having great people skills and the driving ability to match. To be a successful Bus Driver you will:

Take pride in your appearance
Have excellent customer service skills
Be a great communicator
Be safety conscious
Our trainee programme will give you the knowledge to safely operate a bus on one of our urban runs operating within central or west Auckland.

What we offer

You will join us and earn while you learn with our in house training programme including practical driving, theory and bus and route familiarisation. Based in our Mt Roskill depot, you will enjoy working with great people, a varied roster with hours on offer across days/ evenings, further training and progression opportunities down the track eg. Class 4 training or promotion into Coach work and just a great place to work!

Ritchies Transport Holdings Ltd is New Zealand’s largest privately owned bus company with over 900 buses New Zealand wide.

We are currently looking for drivers for our Urban, School bus and SESTA (Special Needs) services for our Auckland Business, based at our depots in Swanson, Albany (North Shore) and Helensville.

We require people that can relate to our customers therefore we looking for applicants that have good customer service skills. Part Time or Full Time positions are available.

To succeed in this role it is essential you have:
• A clean driving record
• The right to live and work in New Zealand
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work some weekends and Public Holidays
• A valid P Endorsement – if you hold a current ‘P’ will be an advantage
• A valid car or Class 2 licence

Ritchies will give full training to gain your P Endorsement (if required) and the skills to complete your duties in this position.

Opportunities will also exist for you to do charters and other such driving duties.
