Advisory Committees

The BCA constitution allows for the establishment of Advisory Committees to assist the Board in furthering the mission of the Association. Committees have Terms of Reference, a Chair responsible for identifying diverse and suitable members to do the work of the Committee and will present progress against their work programme to the BCA Board at least twice annually.

URBAN AND PUBLIC TRANSPORT COMMITTEE Chair - Sheryll Otway


The purpose of the Urban and Public Transport Advisory Committee is to consider and advise on the wide range of matters relating to standards, procurement, legislation and regulation as it relates to Urban and PT services. 

TECHNICAL & REGULATORY ADVISORY COMMITTEE Chair - James Howard


The purpose of the Technical and Regulatory Advisory Committee is to consider and advise on the wide range of technical matters relating to fleet and equipment standards, legislation and regulation as it relates to buses.  

SCHOOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE Chair - Callum Chapman


The purpose of the School Advisory Committee is to consider and advise on the wide range of matters relating to delivery, standards, procurement, legislation and regulation as it relates to non-urban School bus services. 

TOURISM, CHARTER AND LONG DISTANCE COMMITTEE Chair - Brent Early


The purpose of the Tourism, Charter and Long-Distance Advisory Committee is to consider and advise on the wide range of matters relating to the operating context, legislation and regulation affecting Charter and Long Distance services.
